Leggendo i ringraziamenti alla fine dei titoli di coda di The Avengers è possibile leggere il nome di uno sconosciuto abitante di Lond Island che, insieme a Mark Ruffalo, ha dato vita a Hulk. Si tratta del trentasettenne Steve Romm, bodybuilder e stripper, che si è ritrovato a lavorare, per ben un mese, sul set del film allestito in quel di Albuquerque.
Romm, che da giovane idolatrava il gigante verde televisivo di Lou Ferrigno, si è ritrovato coinvolto nella lavorazione del blockbuster Marvel in maniera abbastanza curiosa.
