Con tre commedie e due show drammatici la volpe ha chiuso la sua corsa ai pilot; tra le serie scelte spicca The Following con Kevin Bacon nel ruolo di protagonista. Seconda a rispondere all'appello, la Fox network ha rilasciato ufficialmente i nomi dei pilot che sono stati promossi a serie compattando le cinque nuove serie tra il lunedì e il martedì. La nuova commedia di Mindy Kaling, The Mindy Project (precedentemente nota come It's Messy) è stata accoppiata con New Girl di Zooey Deschanel mentre Ben & Kate arriva subito dopo Aiutami Hope! Il lunedì invece è dedicato a The Mob Doctor, che andrà a prendere il timeslot di Dr House, e The Following che raggiungerà le altre neonate in midseason, così come accadrà per The Goodwin Games.
