CBS Cancels CSI: Miami and Unforgettable, Rob and NYC 22

CBS renewed a slew of shows a two months ago and also announced the pick-up of seven new series (and the likely cancellation of A Gifted Man earlier today, but now the high-rated network has officially canceled two shows.

CSI: Miami: This CSI spin-off has been on the air for 10 years, but its ratings are slipping.  Its most recent season (which only consisted of 19 episodes) was pulling in about 8 million total viewers and a 1.7 rating in the key demo.  For any other network that might seem like stellar ratings, but for CBS it tended to be on the low-side.  In a statement, the network said “CSI: Miami leaves an amazing television legacy – a signature look and style, global popularity and as a key player in CBS’s rise to the top over the past decade.  We thank all the producers – led by Jerry Bruckheimer, »
