Dispiace per i fan di Zooey Deschanel, ma la sostituzione è comunque eccellente. La bella Rachel McAdams rimpiazza infatti Zooey e diventa la protagonista di About Time, il nuovo film di Richard Curtis, una pellicola sci-fi a basso budget che racconterà di avventurosi viaggi nel tempo.
Domhnall Gleeson (il Bill Weasley degli ultimi Harry Potter e visto anche in Non lasciarmi) sarà un giovane uomo che viene da una famiglia di “time travelers” e che usa questo suo potere di viaggiare avanti e indietro nel tempo per migliorare la vita di altre persone. Rachel McAdams dovrebbe a questo punto interpretare la sua amata.
A completare il cast troviamo Domhnall Gleeson, Bill Nighy, Tom Hollander, Margot Robbie, Lydia Wilson e Vanessa Kirby.
