Michelle Pfeiffer was honored with the Cinema Icon Award at the CinemaCon awards ceremony in Las Vegas last night in celebration of her big screen career, which has spanned more than 30 years.

The 53 year old is my all-time favorite actress, so I was lightly horrified to hear one of my interns ask "the lady from New Years Eve?" as I gushed over how amazing she looked in photos from the ceremony. I mean, check her out and just try to tell me she's not as flawless now as she was in 1993.

But the fact that she's been reduced to being known for a supporting role in a pithy rom-com with younger generations breaks my Grease 2, LadyHawke, Dangerous Minds-loving heart.
