Si tratta del dramma Safe Haven, sarà diretto dallo svedese Lasse Hallström e secondo Variety, il protagonista maschile potrebbe essere Josh Duhamel (Turistas, Transformers) attualmente in fase di trattative.Hallström (Chocolat, Buon compleanno Mr. Grape) ha già lavorato su soggetto di Sparks nel film Dear John. Safe Haven (tradotto in Italia in Vicino a te non ho paura) è descritto come una storia d'amore carica di suspense e di scoperte.
