Sarà consegnato al regista Tonino Valerii il Premio Marzocco 2012 durante la serata finale del Valdarno Cinema Fedic, giunto alla trentesima edizione e che si svolge, come ogni anno, al cinema teatro Masaccio di San Giovanni Valdarno. Valerii, da anni amico del festival, sarà premiato dal Presidente del comitato organizzatore del Valdarno Cinema Fedic, Marino Borgogni. Valerii inizia la carriera con il film "Tutto è musica" di Domenico Modugno. Nel 1964 Sergio Leone lo chiamò per fargli da assistente al film "Per un pugno di dollari" e per "Per qualche dollaro in più". Come regista inizia la sua carriera due anni più tardi con il film "Per il gusto di uccidere" e, due anni dopo, con I giorni dell.ira.
