Dal produttore e fratello Agustin Almodóvar ci giungono nuovi dettagli sul prossimo film del regista Pedro Almodóvar, "The Brief Lovers". In quello che viene definito come un film ‘corale’ ritroveremo un cast che conosce bene il regista, avendoci già lavorato: Saranno parte del cast, infatti, Lola Dueñas ("Volver"), Javier Càmara ("Parla con lei") e Cecilia Roth ("Tutto su mia madre"). A loro si uniscono il popolare comico spagnolo Carlos Areces ("Ballata dell'odio e dell'amore") e Raùl Arèvalo, oltre che l’attore messicano Josè Maria Yazpik (“The Burning Plain - Il confine della solitudine”) Il film sarà girato in estate a Madrid con l’obiettivo di essere distribuito nell’estate del 2013. »
