El presidente de Marvel, Kevin Feige, ha concedido recientemente una entrevista a Collinder con motivo del inminente y esperado estreno de la nueva película de Marvel, Los Vengadores, donde aparecen una gran cantidad de personajes del universo Marvel y que supone un punto de inflexión al subgénero de superhéroes en el mundo del cine.
Sobre The amazing Spider-man ha declarado que ya ha visto una versión de la película sin terminar, "Es excelente, lo que he visto es muy alentador y muy bueno.
