Sono state annunciate poco fa le candidature per la 56esima edizione dei Premi David di Donatello, il più importante riconoscimento cinematografico italiano.
A guidare le nomination è Romanzo di una strage, pellicola diretta da Marco Tullio Giordana dedicato ai tragici eventi accaduti nel 1969 a piazza Fontana, Milano. Sono ben 16 le candidature, tra cui Miglior Film e Regia, ma anche Attore Protagonista (Valerio Mastrandrea) più altre tre nomination per i non-protagonisti (Favino, Gifuni e Cescon).
Seguono a ruota Habemus Papam di Nanni Moretti e This Must be the Place di Paolo Sorrentino, rispettivamente con 15 e 14 candidature ed entrambi nominati nelle categorie più importanti, quelle di Miglior Film e Regia.
Le altre pellicole candidate a Miglior Film sono Cesare deve Morire dei fratelli Taviani (8 candidature) e Terraferma di Emanuele Crialese, ricordo Leone d’Argento al Festival di Venezia (nominati anche per la regia) mentre Magnifica Presenza di Ferzan Ozpetek non è riuscito a rientrare nella cinquina finale, »
