Il film vede nel cast Chris Hemsworth, Richard Jenkins, Bradley Whitford, Kristen Connolly, Brian J. White, Amy Acker, Fran Kranz e Jesse Williams, e racconta le vicende di un giovane che visita una casetta nel bosco assieme a un gruppo di amici e scopre che il luogo cela un segreto spaventoso.
