A Variety revela que Woody Harrelson vai contracenar com Christian Bale, Casey Affleck, Zoe Saldana e Sam Shepard em "Out of the Furnace", um thriller que vai ser realizado por Scott Cooper. Harrelson vai dar vida ao vilão do filme, Curtis DeGroat, o líder de uma rede criminosa. A história de "Out of the Furnace" vai-se centrar num criminoso condenado (Christian Bale) que é libertado após ter cumprido uma pena de prisão de quatro anos.
