There was something for everyone in Glee's spring premiere: A little bit of comedy, a touch of drama, a soupçon of backstory, a PSA, some genuine character development, and a couple of good songs, with a big juicy serving of fan service drizzled over the whole thing.

There was even a great "what happened last week" line about Blaine and Sebastian making up because Sebastian learned, "Life's too short to blind someone with rock salt." So true.

As to this week's episode, I suspect that how much an individual viewer enjoyed it will be directly proportional to how much they like Blaine Anderson, whose brother, Cooper (Matt Bomer), dropped by to create opportunities for Blaine to take off his shirt, emote musically in a steamy shower, sing two duets with his estranged sibling, and once again pound a punching bag while flexing his muscular and yet still school-boyish guns. »
