A adaptação cinematográfica do romance de Émile Zola, Thérèse Raquin, considerada a obra inaugural do naturalismo literário, será adaptada ao cinema por Charlie Stratton e já tem o seu elenco principal definido.
Chegou agora a notícia que Jessica Lange, vencedora de dois Óscares da Academia, nomeada para outros quatro e recém vencedora do Globo de Ouro de Melhor Actriz Secundária em Televisão por American Horror Story, substituirá Glenn Close como Madam Raquin.
Thérèse Raquin segue Thérèse (Elizabeth Olsen), uma jovem presa a um casamento sem amor com o seu primo Camille (Tom Felton) e que se apaixona pelo amigo da sua melhor amiga, Laurente (Oscar Isaac). Jessica Lange será a tia de Thérèse e mãe de Camille.
O filme é adaptado do romance e da peça de teatro homónima de Neal Bell. Thérèse Raquin estreia em 2013.
