"The Avengers" se prevé que llegará a los cines el 04 de mayo, pero todavía no sabemos quiénes son los villanos alienígenas que están en la película. De acuerdo con algunos juguetes, parece que Thor, Capitán América, Iron Man y Hulk lucharán contra los Skrulls, pero el director Joss Whedon ha confirmado una vez más que los Skrulls no estarán en la película. "No es el Kree o los Skrull," dijo él. "Esos dos alienígenas son los pilares de Marvel y tienen historias enormes. Ellos tienen una gran vida propia que no podía ser contenida en una película en la que ya tenía siete estrellas de cine." Whedon continuó: "Los Skrulls... pueden cambiar de forma.
