Ben Affleck has joined Facebook to campaign for help in the Democratic Republic of Congo. The actor is trying to raise awareness of the ongoing troubles in the African country, as well as increase funds for his own charity which aids the cause. The screen star, who has also directed Gone Baby Gone and The Town, is head of the Eastern Congo Initiative, which he created in 2010 to help women and children affected by sexual violence and rape.
