La historia de "La Bella y la Bestia" podría regresar a la pantalla grande de la mano de Guillermo del Toro, quien prepara una nueva versión, la cual producirá y dirigirá.
Todo apunta a que la protagonista del filme sea la actriz británica Emma Watson. "Beauty", es un proyecto desarrollado por Warner Bros, el guión está escrito por Andrew Davies, el mismo de las tres películas de “Bridget Jones”.
Guillermo del Toro empezó a trabajar este proyecto con las productoras Denise De Novi y Alison Greenspan a partir de una adaptación de la novela “Beauty: A retelling of the story of the beauty and the beast”, escrita por Robin McKinley, pero desde entonces ha evolucionado.
La participación de Emma Watson aún no es oficial; sin embargo, la revista “Variety” informó que la actriz que se diera a conocer por su papel de Hermione en la saga "Harry Potter", se encuentra »
