A 10-year-old French boy was taken into custody by police on Thursday (January 26) when he attempted to drive his dad's car to school after missing the bus. The child was joined by a 9-year-old friend who also missed the bus in his father's Renault Megane. He drove over a mile before crashing into a roadside pylon in the town of Valence, which is around 105km south of Lyon. "I had my seatbelt on," the boy reportedly told police officers. (more) »
