Johnny Knoxville will star in and produce Broken Lizard's "Mustache Riders." Robbie Pickering and Jase Ricci will work on the screenplay for the stoner Western, which Lizard regular Jay Chandrasekhar is helming. Paul Soter of Lizard originally wrote the screenplay. Bill Gerber ("Gran Torino") also produces with Knoxville's Dickhouse Productions ("Jackass: The Movie") as well as Richard Perello ("Beerfest") of Broken Lizard. Pickering and Ricci are also developing an adaptation of Gitty Daneshvari's "School of Fear" with producer Graham King at Warner Bros. Pictures. Broken Lizard's most recent film was "The Slammin' Salmon" with Michael Clarke Duncan. Previous work included "Club Dread," "Super Troopers" and "Beerfest." »
