Italian maestro of the macabre Dario Argento took Rutger (Blade Runner) Hauer, daughter Asia (Land Of The Dead) Argento, and Thomas (King Kong) Kretschmann to Hungary earlier this year to lens Dracula 3-D, the director’s first outing since 2009′s problematic Giallo. The Suspiria creator has been touting Dracula 3-D as more Hammer than Coppola, and has chosen to set the entire film in Transylvania, promising a romantic and bloodthirsty Drac unlike anything audiences have seen before.

An early trailer has been released, featuring visual effects sequences labeled as being “in progress” along with plenty of footage from the film. Clearly a violent take on the legend, Dracula 3-D certainly has genre fans talking…

Take a look (Warning: trailer contains violent and adult images Nsfw)…
