Neve Campbell will be back as Sidney Prescott in 2011.

"Scream 4" is a go to start production in the spring, reports Variety.

According to the trade, Campbell will reunite will David Arquette and Courteney Cox Arquette, who'll reprise their roles from the previous three films. Wes Craven is also back as the director.

The films usually revolve around poor Sidney fighting to save her life while her friends and loved ones die around her (or turn out to be the killer). The Arquettes met on the first film and made a match of it in real life.

The first three "Scream" films opened to more than $160 million each worldwide.

"Scream 4" is scheduled to creep into theaters on April 15, 2011.

Were you a fan of the originals? How can "Scream 4" top the franchise?
