Bradley Cooper has managed to nab a position desired by every actor, wherein one can choose the projects they want, and not just the ones that might get them ahead. That’s why we’ll soon see him in Paradise Lost and The Silver Linings Playbook (more on that in a second), not more films that echo All About Steve or Midnight Meat Train.

So, Variety reports that the actor is currently weighing his options over The Fight Before Christmas, a new film from The Proposal director Anne Fletcher that Shawn Levy is producing through 21 Laps; 20th Century Fox is expected to distribute. Due Date scribe Adam Sztykiel has written the script, which is currently having its plot details kept mum — though this “family comedy” will probably deal with a) a conflict, and b) the holiday season.
