L'attrice neozelandese è stata ingaggiata per interpretare la moglie del 'paziente della settimana'. Per una volta tanto la trama di Dr. House non si svolgerà intorno al paziente della settimana, bensì convergerà sulla moglie di quest'ultimo che avrà il volto di Melanie Lynskey. L'attrice debutterà nel medical drama nel Gennaio del 2012.
