Le producteur Stephen Evans, l'homme derrière les films The Madness of King George et The Wings of the Dove, prépare un film biographique à grand budget sur la princesse Diana, annonce Screen Daily.
Depuis son décès tragique survenu en 1997, de nombreux films biographiques sur la princesse ont été réalisés. Dans ce cas, il s'agira du premier film à gros budget (plus de 50 millions de dollars).
Afin de s'assurer de la pertinence des propos, le producteur a embauché Ken Wharfe, l'homme qui était à la tête de la sécurité de Diana, ainsi que son secrétaire personnel, Patrick Jephson. »
