On Friday evening, Variety broke word that Warner Bros. has been in talks with three directors to helm a long-anticipated (at least from WB’s perspective) Twilight Zone movie. Christopher Nolan, Michael Bay and Alfonso Cuaron (Children of Men, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban) are the three individuals currently being looked at with Nolan currently emerging as the front runner. Nolan’s history with Warner Bros. is certainly well-documented with The Dark Knight franchise and Inception, which certainly carried some Twilight Zone-esque undertones.   There is a fourth dark horse in the reboot derby in Rise of the Planet of the Apes director Rupert Wyatt.   This isn’t the first time the well-known TV series made the jump to the big screen.
