In today’s casting edition Paul Bettany and Brian Cox are cops who investigate a crime they committed in Blood, Michelle Rodriguez could rise from the dead in Resident Evil: Retribution, Don Cheadle and Bruce Greenwood join Denzel Washington for a Flight, and Michael K. Williams could return to Django Unchained for a new role.

Nick Murphy is working on an adaptation of the British TV series Conviction under the alias Blood. The series tells the story of two policemen who kill a murder suspect and are plunged into chaos when they are forced to investigate their own crime. Paul Bettany (Legion) and Brian Cox (X2: X-Men United) are attached to star. [Screendaily]

Next it’s a Resident Evil reunion of sorts. First Bloody Disgusting reported that Colin Salmon would be reprising his role as One and now the site confirms that Michelle Rodriguez will also be joining the cast of Resident Evil: Retribution. »
