Earlier this morning, I had the pleasure of chatting with Tyrese Gibson about the Blu-ray and DVD release of Fast Five, which hits the shelves October 4. Even before the phenomenal success of Fast Five, Universal Pictures launched plans in mid-April for Fast & Furious 6, hiring Chris Morgan to once again write the script for this sequel (he wrote The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift, Fast & Furious, and Fast Five). Here's what Tyrese Gibson had to say about how he would like to see his character, Roman Pierce, evolve in Fast & Furious 6.

"I just hope that they keep the concept of the heist going. I hope they allow me to be more a part of the decision-making, how we're going to get this mission accomplished, instead of having the mission thrown at us and we become disgruntled about the mission (Laughs).
