The Ohio police chief found guilty of being involved in a break-in at the home of the surrogate mother for Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick has been sentenced to prison. Barry Carpenter, 40, was received two years and eight months in prison from an Ohio judge on Wednesday, a sentence his attorney said he would appeal. In announcing the sentence, the judge called prison time "a must," the Associated Press reports. Carpenter could have received up to six years in jail.
