The popularity of The Visitor has surely helped secure financing for his next project -- another independent film drama titled "Win Win" which according to Pw, is due to begin filming late February in New York and New Jersey. McCarthy filmed The Station Agent in several parts of the garden state. Look for more details to trickle in next month. - Overture Films were all too happy with the results of writer/director Tom McCarthy's The Visitor. The socially conscious, post 9/11 commentary, lite drama starring Richard Jenkins and Hiam Abbass drew in audiences -- the film remained in theaters for a seven month stretch and accompanying 9 million dollar plus box office take.
