'Transformers: Dark of the Moon' made a lot of green this red, white, and blue holiday weekend. The latest film in the franchise had the biggest Fourth of July opening ever, raking in $116.4 million for the four-day weekend, and easily secured the #1 spot at the box office. Shia Labeouf's and his robot car buddies smashed the animated 'Cars 2,' which fell to #2 with a four-day weekend total of $33 million. The Cameron Diaz-Justin Timberlake comedy 'Bad Teacher' came in third with $17.5 million, followed by 'Larry Crowne,' starring Tom Hanks and Julia Roberts, which earned just $16 million. »
