Actress/director Penny Marshall is laughing off reports she's battling cancer, insisting the media gets things "cockeyed" at times.
The beloved Hollywood icon reportedly underwent surgery to treat a brain tumour, according to a U.S. tabloid report, but the Golden Globe-nominated Laverne and Shirley star is asking fans not to believe everything they hear.
Attending the Safe At Home gala in New York on Friday night, she told U.S. news show Extra, "I'm fine, I know there's all that c**p in the paper, but I'm here, I'm walking, I'm talking. They get it a little cockeyed sometimes." »
