Summit's adaptation of the DC/Wildstorm comic book miniseries Red is adding four new cast members.

Julian McMahon (who played Doctor Doom in the Fantastic Four films), Brian Cox (the villainous Stryker in X2: X-Men United), Richard Dreyfuss and film and TV veteran Ernest Borgnine (pictured) are in negotiations to join the film, according to Heat Vision.

Red was a three-book series in 2003 and 2004, which was written by Warren Ellis and illustrated by Cully Hamner.

It tells the story of a former black-ops CIA agent (played by Bruce Willis) living a quiet life in retirement until hi-tech assassins are ordered to kill him for knowing too much.
