Russell Crowe was so desperate to share his love of cycling with new movie co-star Elizabeth Banks, he bought her a state-of-the-art bike.
Crowe and Banks play husband and wife in The Next Three Days, about a woman wrongly accused of murder.
The actor used his time off set to cycle around the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania location, and he wanted to turn Banks into his biker buddy.
But she insists she was the wrong choice of cycling partner.
The actress explains, "Russell Crowe's an avid cyclist and he wanted to share it with me so he bought me this beautiful mountain bike.
"It was super hi-tech, 21 gears. The thing is, I'm not very athletic. I had to watch YouTube videos to learn how to change gears." »
