Hoje o ator Ving Rhames, nome sempre presente em grandes filmes de ação, completa mais um ano de vida. O Telecine Action presenteia os fãs do ator com quatro eletrizantes longas-metragens. A homenagem aos 52 anos do nova-iorquino começa às 18h, com Missão Impossível 3 (2006), terceiro título da saga. Neste, Rhames interpreta novamente Luther Stickell, o fiel escudeiro do agente Ethan Hunt, estrelado por Tom Cruise. O desafio da dupla durante o thriller de espionagem é combater o vilão Owen Davian, papel de Philip Seymour Hoffman.
Em seguida, às 20h15, vai ao ar Vingança entre Assassinos (2009), de Scott Mann. Rhames dá vida ao assassino Joshua Harlow ao lado de Robert Carlyle e Kelly Hu. Num intervalo de sete anos, um torneio sangrento é disputado por trinta matadores internacionais, interessados na recompensa de 10 milhões de dólares. A regra do reality é simples: matar ou morrer.
