Demi Moore's daughter Rumer Willis feels sorry for young actors such as Mischa Barton and Lindsay Lohan - because the Hollywood party scene can be a dangerous place.

Barton was allegedly placed under involuntary psychiatric hold at a hospital in Los Angeles in July after reportedly suffering a meltdown, while Lohan's wild antics include two drink-driving arrests, 84 minutes in jail, and a stint in rehab.

Willis, 21, admits it's hard for young stars to cope with the pressure of fame - because the lure of showbiz parties can often lead to ruin.

She tells Glamour magazine, "I do feel very sorry for Mischa Barton. This whole world is very enticing. When you start getting famous it's exciting. But I've grown up having to deal with what's real and what's not and I just don't care about that type of thing. I have better things to do.

"I think it's important that the only people you have in your life are people who support you and are positive." »
