Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are reportedly looking to spend around $$25 million (£15.5 million) on a new home in New York City's Upper West Side. The couple, who relocated to the city while Jolie was filming spy thriller Salt, are understood to be considering properties in the century-old Apthorp Building which is currently undergoing a conversion. Speaking to the New York Daily News, a source said: "The gated courtyard means they can get in and out of their car without being hassled by paparazzi. The building also has several other exits.
