Now before you fanboys start burning buildings and looting convenience stores at the mere mention of Justin Timberlake as the Green Lantern, let me inform you that right now nothing is official. AICN is reporting (via an unspecified source) that Timberlake screen-tested (ie: auditioned) for the role of Green Lantern, and he's among a select group of guys that are all vying for the much-coveted role. Timberlake, while charismatic and fun to watch on "Saturday Night Live", probably wouldn't be the best choice to lead a major comic property, especially since he still carries some of that boy-band mystique that fanboys love to hate.
