Harry Potter star Rupert Grint has been harbouring a crush on co-star Emma Watson for years - confessing both he and Daniel Radcliffe battle to win favour with the pretty actress during filming.

The trio met as kids when they were cast as the leading stars of the boy wizard franchise for the first movie in the series, 2001's Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone.

They have all featured in every Potter film since - and Grint admits he couldn't wait to lock lips with Watson on film for the upcoming Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, when their characters share a kiss.

The 20 year old is prepared for rumours of their on-screen relationship crossing over into real life - and Grint will revel every minute of it, even if it's not entirely true.

Speaking before he filmed the love scene with Watson, Grint told FHM magazine, "A lot of people think there’s something going on (between me and Emma Watson) because I have to kiss her on film soon.

"I’ll be honest with you: it’s not something I’d say I’m dreading. Emma’s a pretty girl. Have Daniel or I ever hit on Emma? Well, she’s quite popular with the cast. As for who has the worst crush on her - me or Radcliffe - I’d rather not say."

But Grint's movie kiss with Watson wasn't as good as he had hoped. He recently admitted, "We've known each other for 10 years so it was a bit like kissing my sister." »
