Yes, we’re talking about Donkey, the smart-mouthed sidekick from the Shrek movies who has been voted the most-loved movie animal in a new poll by DVD rental service LOVEFiLM. The animated ass (we’re not being rude – that’s its name!), voiced by Hollywood comedian Eddie Murphy might not be a “noble steed”, but he sure is popular snapping up more than one in four votes polled from the 2,000+ counted.
