Latest job elimination represents 1 percent of workforce.

MTV Networks cut around 75 staffers on Tuesday.
Most of the cuts were at MTV, with ten positions eliminated at Logo.
The layoffs account for less than 1% of MTV Networks' workforce.
Maira Suro was among the highest-level executives departing. She was hired as the newly created position of Senior VP Series Development, West Coast, in 2007.
An MTV spokeswoman said, "We have been taking a look at our business and how to position ourselves for future growth. It's pretty much the economy."
