Meryl Streep has landed a very special 60th birthday gift - an honorary degree from America's Princeton University.
The actress, who turns 60 on Monday, attended the revered college's 262nd Commencement without fanfare on 2 June.
She joined actress and civil rights activist Ruby Dee Davis and chef Alice Waters among non-students honoured.
The actress graduated from Vassar College in 1971 and studied drama at Yale University, according to imdb.com. »
