Actress Melissa Joan Hart is breathing a sigh of relief - her mother is making a rapid recovery from brain surgery just two weeks after having a tumour removed.
The former Sabrina, The Teenage Witch star's film producer mum Paula underwent an eight-hour operation last month, prompting Hart to reach out to fans -urging them to help pray for her ailing loved one.
She wrote on her MySpace.com blog, "She is out of the woods and on her way to recovery, luckily she is a good healer and has 7 children to lend a hand in times like these.
"Prayer is a big part of my life and it was very crucial last week for my mommy. I ask that you keep her in your thoughts and prayers as she fights her way to a full and wonderful recovery."
And the 33 year old admits her mum is exceeding doctors' expectations and is well on the way to regaining her full health.
She tells People.com, "Every day, she is like a different person. It's amazing to see. It's a really fast recovery... Everything worked out really well." »
