Comedian Ellen DeGeneres is offering up her matchmaking services to actress Anne Hathaway after her 2008 break-up from convicted fraudster Raffaello Follieri.
The Devil Wears Prada star dumped Follieri in June, just days before he was arrested for fraud and money laundering. The Italian businessman was later sentenced to four-and-a-half years in prison.
And now chatshow host DeGeneres is keen to find Hathaway a new lover.
During an appearance on the Ellen DeGeneres Show, set to air in the U.S. on Thursday, the host tells the actress: "If you need someone, I will find you a boyfriend. I'm really good at it."
A red-faced Hathaway replies, "Did you see how nervous I just got?"
DeGeneres adds, "You don't even have to date. You can go straight to commitment."
And Hathaway has only one real requirement from any potential new boyfriends: "At this point I would just like him to be law abiding.
"2008 was the year I learned to have a sense of humour about everything."
