Michael Sheen was so determined to accurately portray journalist Sir David Frost in new movie Frost/Nixon, he secretly followed him to study his mannerisms.

The actor, who plays Frost in the new film version of the stage show, has never met the veteran broadcaster but admits he went to great lengths to ensure he gave an authentic performance.

He says, "I just followed him. That sounds a bit creepy, doesn't it? I took photographs of the back of his head. I wanted to watch how he walked and then I took a picture to get his stance. It is a bit weird."
