Carrie reads the romantic collection of messages from the likes of Beethoven and Napoleon snuggled in bed with Mr Big (Chris Noth) during the movie and it goes on to play a significant part in the pair’s relationship. Not available on release of the film, some clever bods at Macmillan Publishers quickly sent the book to the printers and voila! Instant Satc magic.
