Supermodel Kate Moss has got into the festive spirit by treating her daughter's nanny to a $4,350 (GBP3,000) shopping spree at British fashion store Topshop.
The 34-year-old beauty encouraged Mary Davidson - nanny to daughter Lila, six, and mother of close friend Sadie Frost - to buy whatever she wanted from the chain store, for which Moss designs her own clothing range.
And Moss' generosity did not go unnoticed by Topshop boss Sir Philip Green, who decided he'd pick up the bill for the superstar.
A source tells Britain's Daily Express newspaper, "Mary was shy and bewildered at first but soon got into the swing as Kate encouraged her. She came away with more than GBP3,000 of clothes, and shoppers found their jaws dropping as they bumped into Kate and she was shouting, 'Come on girls, buy buy buy!'
"Mary kept saying, 'But what will I get you for Christmas?'"
