Teenage actress Dakota Fanning had her first driving test live on U.S. TV on Wednesday - in movie mogul Jerry Weintraub's golf cart.
The 14-year-old was treated to a spin around the studio while making an appearance on comedienne Ellen DeGeneges' hit chat show after grumbling about the fact she still had a year to go before she could legally have lessons.
Fanning shrieked as Weintraub's cart darted across the studio and onto the lot outside.
The young actress then sped off in the golf cart.
DeGeneres instructed her guest to park in neighbour George Clooney's parking spot.
As Fanning bumped a curb, she joked, "You don't have to worry about me until next August - on the roads."
