The U.S. Supreme Court on Monday refused to hear Dish Network's appeal of a decision that it infringed TiVo's patents on home digital video recorders. Dish said that it would pay the original $104 million award plus interest within the next few days. It also said that it would continue to fight TiVo's latest claim that Dish's current software also infringes TiVo's patents and that Dish is therefore in contempt of the 2006 decision.
