David Duchovny, Demi Moore and Amber Heard will team up to star in Derrick Borte’s directorial debut “The Joneses,” according to the Hollywood Reporter.
The film focuses on a seemingly perfect family that moves into a suburban community and leaves an excellent first impression with the neighbors. Truth is however that they are a fake family sent to live among consumers in order to promote new luxury products.
Duchovny is set to play the dad, who’s battling a personal crisis because he finds it hard to live a lie. Moore plays the wife, who slowly develops real feelings for her fake husband. Heard is the daughter who’s on the lookout for a rich guy.
Sounds awesome to me at this stage. Duchovny has the perfect face to play this kind of guy, and I remember he and Gillian Anderson once did a totally convincing job playing a »
