Troubled O.J. Simpson was pulled over by police at the weekend after reports he was driving under the influence.
The former American football star was travelling through Nevada alone at the weekend (06-07Sep08) when cops stopped him on suspicion of drink-driving.
But the star, who is due to go on trial for armed robbery and kidnapping in Las Vegas on Monday, was found to have done nothing wrong and allowed to go on his way.
Nevada Highway Patrol trooper Kevin Honea said Simpson was stopped between Jean and Las Vegas.
He added: "The guy was just driving. He did absolutely nothing wrong. (But) we owe it to the safety of the public to check these things out."
